They sell scads of stuff, all of it as fake as a Burberry purse on the streets of Venice.
Their rainbow roses, indigo strawberries  and blue tomatoes are terrible photoshop jobs. Yet people keep buying from them.
Ebay feedback windows are only open for a short amount of time, so by the time something is actually harvested/flowered/fruited, the feedback window has closed.
The seller I believe lives only about 5 minutes away from me and no, I've never seen any blue Himalayan ice bananas or rainbow roses on my many travels around the hills.

To be fair, there are indigo cherry tomatoes out there--several old heirloom types actually. I have only seen one in the flesh that is actually purple on the inside though. Tasted pretty much the same as any cherry tomato, maybe a bit less sweet.

Are you familiar with the old hunkerfords farm out the back of mitchelton?

Rainbow roses I think are done with white roses and exposing different parts of the stem to dye but can't be grown. Also a purely blue rose just does not exist and I would pay anything to have it if it did all you get is shades of purple and lilac but blue is all over ebay:( like the blue watermelons too!

Was this seller perhaps around during the middle ages too?

Actually the pears and watermelons are real.  They stick them in molds while growing.
Gotta get me one of them strawberries.

I ran it through Google Translate, the person says that they're grown using moulds but that the seller was advertising "square watermelon seeds".  ;)

Coconut,

I believe it was Jclda who requested seeds of that passion fruit cultivar, but I had to tell him we don't stock such varieties, my nursery is a place you can bring your family.

He said you just cut a hole in the tip, and suck out the pulp...like tapioca.

Hello, I have had two bad experiences with Ebay out of three purchases. I went against the advice of my daughter and my friends , not to buy any thing on Ebay. I bought a Beermachine, which was labled as "New", the price was attractive, about $63. When I opened the box, which arrived after a long delay, I found that the base of the Beermachine was shattered, the machine was used, because the Defoamer discs packet, which normally contains three Discs was opened and there was only one Disc, and the small box containing 3 nos. of  8gm C02 bulbs was not there, instead  there was a box containing 10 nos !! imported from Europe !!!. I should Know!! because I have 3 Beermachines!!!.The packing was excellent, so it could not have broken in transit, it was double boxed, with cushoning material between the boxes. When informed, Ebay passed on the information to the seller, and that guy replies that he does not know what I am talking about!! The second incident happened because I had already ordered before the Beermachine arrived, I had ordered a 10gm jewellers balance to weigh GA-3 for soaking seeds !! When it arrived and I checked it I found the back lighting in the LCD display does not work! On informing the seller came back saying that model did not have back lighting!! when the itself manual says if  "the back lighting does not light up, to press the light switch", which was not there on the machine. The seller offered to refund $3, which I accepted, instead of going to all the trouble of returning it and not knowing whether I wound get a refund. So I have decided never to shop on Ebay!!! As regards Paypal, to open an account, they require all personal information, which my daughter refuses to give,as she has had Idenity Theft more than once, and paypal does not linkup with a gift card, so much so that I am unable to buy any seeds from the forum members. So I make all my purchases using Gift Cards. Chandramohan.

Over the years, I have bought a bunch of stuff on eBay.  Most without any problems.  I think there is an inherent risk buying "seeds" on eBay.
I also use PayPal. About identity theft using PayPal.  Having been a recent victim of identity theft, I can tell you that you are more apt to have your personal identity information stolen from your doctor's office or other medical computer system (medical lab, hospital, etc.) than PayPal.

The pink eggs are real, you can buy them all over thailand. I've never eaten them but there are many ways to cook or ferment or whatever they do with eggs.  They also eat eggs with a foetus chicken in it.

My wife told me what makes them red coloured but i forgot it.

So now i have seen 3 "fraude" listings in this thread who are nothing special at all in Asia. Isn't it amazing? ;D

The most shocking one for me was the totally naked girls on a catwalk in Phuket thailand. They all looked 100% perfect untill an Ozzy next to me said they were all boys, look at the adams-apple and the big hands.
