Are coffee grounds and eggshells the best natural fertilizer for citrus?

Not sure what the best is....kind of depends on what you are growing and how you are growing it. Imo, coffee grounds and egg shells will do very little for you. They won't hurt, but don't help much.

A good "balanced" compost, including coffee grounds and egg shells would be much better.

In my opinion a good conventional fertilizer is by far the best method for growing citrus.
