Are contestants allowed to vote? I voted but I didn't vote for myself. I took into account the degree of difficulty to get fruit way out of climate range. Quite remarkable.

I have to agree, jmc96 has got a monster in that pot. I am afraid to see what he could grow in a 25 gallon!

I was just about to vote and just saw that the contest was over. For the record, I was about to vote for the winner. That being said, and maybe the perspective is off, but while his sapodilla is gorgeous, I am not so sure it is Alano. I have never seen Alano fruit that large.

Nice contest. For the next one Adam i suggest you give what exactly it is we are voting for? I wasn't sure whether it was best looking plant, best looking photo, or most difficult to grow, or what? I voted for the sapodilla based on the fact that they are very hard to fruit so small and that it had a lot of fruits on it. Congratulations to SCGI.

Congrats SCGil!! Can't deny a beautiful Sapo in a pot fruiting, I tried and gave up, planting mine out last year.

Although, I voted for FloridaGreenMan (Red Cacao), maybe because of my life's ambition to get a cacao to fruit here. I'm convinced there are more cold hardy seeds and plants out there, The search has just intensified thanks to FGM..

Thanks everyone! I have to blame it all on Harry Hausman. I got 5 pounds of sapodilla fruit from him about 4 years ago (my first) and now I have three trees! Thanks again.
