Can you tell me if this is iron deficiency or manganese deficiency. These are two pictures I took today
of my potted Xie Shan Satsuma which is next to two potted Shiranui and a potted Sugar belle. Besides
leaf miners the other citrus trees look fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Citrus General Discussion / Re: Rootstock Question
« on: July 28, 2015, 12:32:07 AM »
Are there differences between normal Poncirus and FD as root stock....i mean do they give different cold-resistant to the grafted plant ?

As far as I know FD gives more cold protection due to longer dormancy period than PT and of course having a less active growing period increase the dwarfing effect.

brian what you are seeing is known as guttation, and is no problem (in fact it could well mean that your trees have a very good developed root system).  Look up guttation on the internet for a full explanation. - Millet

Hmm, so this process is called guttation, good to know and as usual many thanks Millet!  :)

I'm collecting rain water to irrigate my plants in a big tank and sometimes the water become green/brownish due to algae & dust from house roof:

Next day after treating the water with H2O2 become crystal clear:

One thing is for sure, H2O2 is cleaning your water from unwanted stuff!  ;D

Citrus General Discussion / Re: yellowing leaves
« on: July 17, 2014, 03:47:39 AM »
I believe it's salt injury. I suspect the stock is PT or one of his hybrids which are very sensitive to salts. Dry or yellowing appearing on edges of leaves, like in the photos is one of the most common visible salt injury symptoms. Take care!

Citrus General Discussion / Re: What is it for citrus?
« on: May 02, 2014, 01:41:46 PM »
Sorry, to be more precise:
C. Lemon 'Lipo'(Imperial Lemon) is belived to be C. Limon x C. paradisi.
C. lemon Ponderosa is believed to be Citrus limon × medica.
Both plants are similar regarding leaves, grow habit, blossoms just the fruit taste is different, Lipo has poor lemon aroma.  :(
I've also C. Lemon nine pounder(no fruit yet) which is very similar with Ponderosa and Imperial Lemon just has few nice thorns.
