Paul Thomson Mango
« on: September 26, 2019, 10:35:12 PM »
I just harvested one of the Paul Thomson's mangoes that I grafted a few years ago, it is from his old place in Vista, it is one of the favorites of the gardeners that now work there. It is very sweet with a bit of piney flavor. Not sure of the name since most info is gone from the old orchard.

So this one isn't "Edgehill"?  I found one location that supposedly has it, but haven't checked it out yet.

There are about 15 different trees left on the property and when the property was developed, I don't think they had any idea which mangoes to keep. He may have named this one, and I haven't had the real "Thomson" in years so I'm not sure which one I grafted.
