holding variegation very nicely...I don't think it will be reverting to all green, or all white anytime soon.

this plant grows slow as heck...less than 8 inches per year it seems.

The plant is looking great, Adam...thanks for sharing. :)

Here's an update on mine...sure is a slow grower, compared with the normal grumi.  :-\

I finally got the plant large enough to take a few scions...when my grafts heal I will post pics...I'm thinking of selling the first one on ebay...because I will only have one or two plants to sell this year if all goes well.

the plant grows too slow to take scions.

Why sell on eBay, which charges you to post, when you have your own website?

I guess because i can auction the tree.

And they get more traffic than my website.

Yeah, i understand. But really i suggest (more free unsolicited advice  ;) ) putting more energy into increasing traffic on your website. Having really cool plants like that offered is one way to increase traffic to your website. But yeah increasing traffic to your site is a gradual process. Personally i don't think very highly of eBay. If you use them for a while i think you will understand why.

Good advice Oscar thanks

My website is really out of date already...when I get some extra time and money I will update the website...

For now it's just there as a catalogue, and people like to see a website.

I keep thinking of zills and how amazing they are, and how they don't even have a website!

They are my heroes.

Btw I've sold lots of stuff on eBay, and was really happy with the amount of money I was able to get for some rare plants at auction....

But I agree they can really suck sometimes.

Was thinking it may increase traffic to my website to actually start offering plants on eBay...u can link your website to the auction right?

I don't think eBay allows you to link to your own website, unless they changed recently? They want you to keep all your business on eBay.

I wonder if I can auction a plant on the forum?  Is that even legal?

I too have a Variegated Eugenia brasiliensis. This is from the 'Yellow Grumichama' seeds I got from Roy.

pretty cool...yours has decent pattern so far...

i've seen some that look much different, with shades of mostly yellow and green, and the pattern is not the same...with no real defined margins between the colors, it's as if someone took a large paint brush, and did that technique Bob Ross does when he makes clouds, where u just kind of mash the tip against the canvas...

the variegation pattern on the one i have reminds me more of marble, with well defined margins between the colors, and it has shades of white, green, yellow, and then what looks almost like a grey-green.

I still have yet to see some fruits on my tree, although it did flower for the first time this year.

it's about 7y old? 6ft tall, in a 10 gal pot
