Rapoza scion seems to have taken and already flushed.. is it too early to cut off the branch I side cleft grafted onto? Going to try and use the piece I cut off as more budwood for grafting as it looks like the perfect stage to take for grafting.. right?

You can lop it off now. It looks like it is pushing flowers though.

Thank you Jeff! Funny I thought the same thing at first but I gave the tree a major prune & wasn’t expecting it to flower, just send out vegetative growth.
