How to get rid of these on my acerola?

I've tried spraying them off with the water hose, but they always return.
What can I do next to permanently kill them?

Japanese maple cottony scale or white bugs are always insufficient fresh air and high humidity conditions....
to get rid of them: use pesticide or egg yolk methode.

I have these on my acerola tree also. It's from all the ants.  I was too lazy to put the tacky feet on the trunk.  Yesterday i poured some DE around the truck.  When winter comes around, it should be less.  Next year I will put the tacky feet.
