Title: Does anyone have experience with Jujube growing in pots?
Post by: dmwong93 on March 14, 2018, 06:33:27 PM
I want to grow jujubes in pots rather than in the ground since they tend to send shoots up everywhere. Wondering if anyone has had experience growing then in pots and how it turned out. Thanks

I planted a sugar can in 30 gallons pot last year and I had decent crop. I don’t know about this year. Will see

Jujube does just fine in pots.   Go with fabric or root pruning pots for best results.

Any one knows if thai jujube (ziziphus mauritanea) is self fertile too? Thank's!

Yes I have sugarcane jujube in 50 gal tall container large size plant, not good fruit yield yet.
Yes I am afraid the roots system. I drugged up two plants and gave it away few years ago. I bought three more all in pots now
Much better fruit yield when it is in the ground.
