Whitish powder near my avocado grafts
«

I’ve noticed this whitish powder surrounding some of my avocado grafts on my largest tree. Not sure what to make of i it but I can’t imagine it’s healthy. Any idea what it might be and/or how to treat it if needed?
Photos below
Tree is holding over a hundred Avos. Maybe 200-300

Dried avocado sap makes a white powder. You are leaking...should resolve with callous forming. Or...rewrap the graft top to bottom with new stretched parafilm (leaving old parafilm on the graft for strength).

Thanks for the quick reply Jack. I was worried about borers and termites but couldn’t find any evidence of them around my tree
