I got my seeds finally. I doubt they will sprout. Not with that attitude
Thanks for the information :-) I'm guessing that they don't like the heat here in Miami. Maybe I'll try putting them outside again over the winter and see how they fare.Mine are doing fine and its been very hot and humid and their in dappled sun, I only water them with rainwater so maybe its the water your using.
Don't be afraid to put fertilizer, with plenty of Nitrogen, around your ilama trees. Ilama trees do well with raw chicken manure.Alright good to hear, im always really cautious when it comes to fertilizing my rare trees, i mainly spray compost tea on it or use low fertilizers like bio live. I just got a huge bag of rabbit manure so i'll throw some on the ilama. I can't wait to plant it in the ground but the soil isn't ready yet where i will plant it, but it will have plenty of everything, The soil is already full of worms.
Are white ilamas that small? My anona rosada is double that size to 2 + lbIts the first fruit plus its in a 45G pot and the tree is only 4 years old, I know they get much bigger when established and matured. This fruit was as big as a soft ball maybe slightly bigger so not bad for first fruit.
Here it is won't be ready for another two months
