Thanks for the information :-)  I'm guessing that they don't like the heat here in Miami.  Maybe I'll try putting them outside again over the winter and see how they fare.
Mine are doing fine and its been very hot and humid and their in dappled sun, I only water them with rainwater so maybe its the water your using.

Man that looks totally worth the danger, Great pictures, Glad you had a safe trip

Ilama white .

That white ilama has more of an elongated look compared to mine, I guess that's 2 different varieties of white.

saw 90-100 mph gust, The winds lasted for over 12 hours, Passion fruit were being hurled all over the place, most bananas i had to cut in half, papayas and avocado are good, Inga took it like a champ, same with soursop, amla broke at its base but it can grow back from the roots other than that all good here. Can't imagine the damage down south.

Ive tried germinating hundreds of chempedak only had 1 make it to about 2 feet, Haven't given up yet.  Have a bunch of cheena that are taking off so at least that.

property isn't that big about 1/4 acre but im going to plant the majority on another property which is more than enough, I will be keeping the rarest trees here  8) I have to make sure the trees are big enough so animals dont eat them so i keep them all around me as long as possible so i can guarantee success.

Also i like densely planting because ive read about photoperiodism and how it causes plants to grow faster to compete with the other foliage, so i put various plants in groups depending on growth habit to still allow room for the leaves of each plant but allow them to shade each other enough for photoperiodism to take affect and I have seen a dramatic increase in plant growth. To verify i have 5 or more of almost every plant except for a few so i put them in different locations with different lighting but getting the same care as the other plants and the ones that are bunched for photoperiodism are definitely growing faster.

Yea thats my neighbors roof, everyone's property is either lawns or sand and mine looks like a jungle sandwiched in between, its really funny, everyone says i have the coolest yard but my neighbors say i have too many trees ??? is that possible ;) ;D

average around 40F coldest but i have a legit micro climate and my soil I make is perfect for maximum growth and health of the plants, One thing people neglect is the soil so having the healthiest soil allows your plants to deal with stresses better.

Langsat about 4 years old, marang like 3 1/2

No limoncillo (Melicoccus bijugatus), I have a few Lucs Garcinia and their still in pots in dappled sun. I would keep them in pots for the first 3-4 years before planting in the ground maybe even longer and it would still need some shade until its adapted, I see your in florida so I would also recommend digging a good size hole or mounding up and filling it in with compost and good garden soil mixed with 20% of native sand/soil.

Thats what i was comparing them too, I bought a seedling from 7Heads on ebay so im curious now if it is a true clove. Do the leaves look like a clove at least? Either way i'll buy some seeds from you the next time their available to insure.

These clove flowers look different than what ive seen in pictures, is there different variations of the same or is it a false clove?

69
The leaves look awesome, I don't think that could even hold a mature fruit. Nice to know it flowers so early, I have one about a year old growing like a weed, its pretty hardy.

Don't be afraid to put fertilizer, with plenty of Nitrogen, around your ilama trees.   Ilama trees do well with raw chicken manure.
Alright good to hear, im always really cautious when it comes to fertilizing my rare trees, i mainly spray compost tea on it or use low fertilizers like bio live. I just got a huge bag of rabbit manure so i'll throw some on the ilama. I can't wait to plant it in the ground but the soil isn't ready yet where i will plant it, but it will have plenty of everything, The soil is already full of worms.

Are white ilamas that small? My anona rosada is double that size to 2 + lb
Here it is won't be ready for another two months

Its the first fruit plus its in a 45G pot and the tree is only 4 years old, I know they get much bigger when established and matured. This fruit was as big as a soft ball maybe slightly bigger so not bad for first fruit.

I get the black shilajit powder from omica organics, it is expensive but i get it by the pounds so its cheaper, i just sprinkle a quarter teaspoon in the soil, you have to be careful as it is high in sodium. What ive been doing lately is adding a teaspoon to my compost teas so i can get every plant once a week, Im making some intense teas lately and everything is growing like weeds, my langsat grew 2 feet in a month, my wild growing kepel that has been sitting dormant for 3 years put out leaves the day after i put the tea on it.

Shilajit contains the most minerals and a high bacteria count, also has ancient nutrients and bacteria as its one of the oldest substances on earth, Plus a full amino acid profile, Just a great array of everything. Definitely worth it as a pound would last for years if you only use it for the garden and it can't go bad. I eat a good amount so i always have a few pounds on hand.

Anyone who truly wants to learn about health and not just talk about it because it was brought to their attention through netflix or a forum should study Aryurveda medicine or a simpler form of that (in my opinion) Chinese medicine to really understand health and its aspects, if you want to go deeper the ancient health teachings from ancient Egypt and ancient Greece are great as well. Also David Wolfe Longevity Now program is a new age way of healing that some think is ridiculous but if you actually learn what he is talking about and not assume an opinion of what you don't understand it opens a new perspective on the incomplete knowledge of the basics of health, I mean Cacao beans, How can you go wrong, Basics.
