Are there any books or videos to guide a novice with regards to effective practices to successfully grow fruit plants/trees - it should cover all aspect of growing - eg soil, nutrients, diseases etc.  Thank you.

My mulberry bush has been flowering profusely of late.  Many in my neighborhood are requesting for some cuttings to grow themselves.  When is the appropriate time to take cuttings?  Right after harvesting? 

I just received some seeds of saba senegalensis.  Is there any specific procedure to germinate them or simple sow in the pot?  Thank you.

In November 2014, I had planted some seeds of a soursop fruit purchased in Sri Lanka.  The fruit was quite huge.  About a foot and a half on the long side.  After about 3 years, a few of these plants flowered.  Two of them produced a single fruit.  But, the fruits grew only to about the size of a tennis ball.  Annona muricata are supposed to breed true to type?  So, why did my two plants bear only small fruits?

Is it because they were the first fruit of each tree?  The trees are now flowering profusely.  Someone suggested that manual hand pollination might be the solution.  Please help.

The nursery simply calls it cherry tree.  Other than that, they have no idea which one it is.  ID anyone?

This plant has recently started producing fruits.  Unfortunately, I never saw the flowering stage.  I bought it from a nursery where the salesperson simply said rose apple.  Judging by the shape of the fruit being formed, as it is not round, I think I can safely assume it's not Syzygium jambos.  It most likely looks like Syzygium aqueum.  Please help.  Thank you.

Chennai is classified as AW in the Köppen climate classification list.

Can I safely say that what fruits grows in other AW regions can be grown here?  Or will soil conditions etc play a major role too?  Thank you.

I'm trying to grow kiwano.  I have planted them in 2 different locations.  1 place I had added fertilizer in the beginning.  The other place got nothing at all.  So far, there has been only vegetative growth in both the plants.  It's been more than 6 months now.  No signs of any flower.  What am I doing wrong? 

The poor mango probably had just dropped off from the tree when it was hit by an unidentified fast moving vehicle.  Death was instantaneous.  Police have released this image of the victim and are asking for the public’s help in identifying and finding the vehicle and its driver. Anyone with information is asked to call the Chennai Police Department.

There's this plant growing at our house.  None of the local support group seem to be able to ID this plant.  Can anyone help with identifying this plant?  Thank you.

The images of cucumis metuliferus I see online don't look anything like mine in the picture above.   Just want to confirm it is kiwano plant.   Thank you.

PS: Yes, it's already affected by leaf miners.
