Sree,

My three year old Rollinia also flowered but did not set any fruit...I am told it will take another year to set fruit...Do you have one tree or more? Having two trees is said to help in fruiting..

I have two trees as well, but only one flowered.  It usually produces fruit in 4-5 years.

Not pollination problem. Immaturity problem. Young trees will abort flowers until right levels of hormones in the tree. Sometimes in very arid climates there is not sufficient humidity for correct pollination. But where you live that will not be a problem. Second tree will not help. Grafting on some mature rollinia wood probably would help to spread hormones into rest of the tree.

Young trees suffer often from flowering synchronicity:  all female-stage flowers one night, then all go male-stage the next night.
Older trees do this some also, especially when flowering season happens to begin during cool spring weather.

You could refrigerate pollen, with dessicant flakes, such as Calcium Chloride, in the container with the pollen.

Just thought I'd share a note with rollinia growers:

I just today pruned all the leaves of mine owing to some type of fungus infestation--so in case you're wondering, yes, they can get them.
