Adding sweet uvaia! (the collector does the harvest this week and we will have stock by the end of October, start of November)

* Sweet uvaia (Eugenia pyriformis) (November)

3 to 4cm diameter, the perfume of the flowers is one of the best I know (along with citrus flowers, guabiroba and sete capotes), good for mermelades, icecreams, jams, raw, etc. Taste is similar to apricot mixed with tangerine or something like that.

3 seeds --> USD 8
5 seeds --> USD 12
10 seeds --> USD 22
20 seeds --> USD 40
40 seeds --> USD 76
80 seeds --> USD 140
100 seeds --> USD 170

Hi

Are feijoas self fertile? Or you need more varieties?

Thanks

Onur,

According to this article "Two or more bushes should be planted together for cross-pollination unless the cultivar is known to be self-compatible."

Hi, I will add an AMAZING species from Misiones or Paraguay: the mother tree is at Misiones now but it is from a seed of a paraguayan tree, 40 years old or so, I will have better photos tomorrow

* Ultra rare and very sweet Myrtaceae sp. from Paraguay . Maybe an Eugenia, the fruit is very sweet and not acid, similar to guabiju in that regard, the skin is said to be tasty and crunchy, and the pulp is super sweet and nice; it doesnt taste like jaboticaba, guabiju or any other myrtaceae we know, it has a personal taste similar to rose grapes, very good. One seed per fruit. The smell of the leaves is similar to Eugenia or Plinia, and the flowers are similar to Eugenia. Nobody really knows what species is it, so it must be an endangered one.

On stock by Nov 1, 2018.

2 seeds USD 10
3 seeds USD 13
5 seeds USD 20
10  seeds USD 36
20  seeds USD 68
40  seeds USD 126
80  seeds USD 240

I am accepting payments now.

Adding a new jaboticaba, native from Argentina! For the first time! The Plinias from Argentina can resist -6º C (21º F)  or so!

* Jaboticaba de Campo Ramón (Plinia sp.) Wavy elongated leaf . Fruits are 3cm diameter, dark purple, not black, very good sweet juicy taste! This kind of jaboticabas use to grow faster than sabará and other species, they resist at least -5º or -6ºC frosts (21º F) (I tested 5 feet tall trees at my parents weekend house in the last winter at -6ºC (21º F) !)

5 seeds USD 18
10 seeds USD 34
20 seeds USD 64
40 seeds USD 120
80 seeds USD 230
100 seeds USD 280

I am interested in the Campo Ramon Jabos and the  Ultra rare and very sweet Myrtaceae sp. from Paraguay.

Would these do well in tropical regions as well?

PS: My wifes family is from Argentina.  Her dad is from Buenos Aires and her mom is from Puerto Madryn.

Wow, amazing! Yes, they will do well (if we were talking about Eugenia involucrata or Myrcianthes pungens, I would say NO, but these ones are subtropical and tropical fruit species)
