Please refer to the below URL. It is in Chinese though. Accordingly to the website, it may seem to originate from southern China, perhaps Guang dong province. It is know as a good breed with intense fragrance and soft flesh.

Ripeness has outpaced its growth for this guava, still remain as berry sized.Still taste very sweet and fragrant.

What is the difference between the Four Season Red and Carmine?

Is it because Four Season Red has fruits all four season of the year?

I think the Sylvia guava I found is more similar to the Four Season than the Carmine. Can you tell me the weight of the largest Four Season fruits?

The largest Sylvia guava (if you saw my posts) is 243 grams, which is larger than any Carmine photos I have seen.

From what I recall, the Carmine can be divided into four varieties: Palace Pink, Full Red, Born Red, and Big Leaf Red; with palace pink and full red being the best.
