Changshou or Fukushu kumquat in Florida
« on: April 16, 2018, 02:27:52 AM »
I'm searching for the Changshou or Fukushu kumquat tree to buy but haven't seen them at the nurseries in central and south florida. Most of them have the more popular Meiwa and Nagami type. Does anyone know of a nursery in Florida that has Changshou (Fukushu ) ? I'm willing to drive 3-4 hours for pick up.

Have you tried grafting your own, that's what I did I ordered some scions from CCPP and all of the grafts took

This is just my 2nd year of gardening so I haven't tried grafting yet. I'll get there one day :)

I could be wrong but I believe all citrus in Florida must be purchased in the State and you are not allowed to graft your own any longer.
