How is the taste compared to other eugenias? And how long to produce from seed?

Greetings Everyone!
Just to let people know...
"Nelita" is a variation/selection of Cherry of the Rio Grande...
but with much larger fruit! Just look at those pictures. Wow!
Miguel is a very reputable seller, as I have bought seed from him several times... alway with high success.
I have 6 Nelita plants now and they are much easier to grow from seed than Cherry of the Rio Grande
These are rare and very interesting seeds of a plant you can't find anywhere but from Miguel.
Don't miss out on your chance to own one of these valuable plants.

I think E. calycina is a different species of Eugenia all together. I'm pretty sure Rio Grande is E. aggregata or E. involucrata.

The jury is still out on the exact latin name of this plant. There has been quite a bit of discussion on this plant right here in the forum.

Hi folks
Indeed there is still much confusion and discussion regarding the correct ID of "Nelita" but this subject was very much discussed here on TFF before so for anyone looking for more info just use the "search" engine on TFF and you'll find a lot of oppinions.

But really who cares about the proper ID when you can have a species producing such tasty and big fruits!... just look at the fruits I harvested this last weekend and a photo from one of last year's huge fruits

Hi Miguel!

My Neilita seed I got from you last year is doing well and just under 1' tall.

If you still have some available, I would like to order a few more.  Please let me know!

My "Nelita" seeds germinated 100% and were already sprouting roots when they arrived.
