Annona Scions

so I’m getting some scions in the mail Saturday but I won’t be able to graft until next week Sunday. Can the scions handle being stored for around 8 days? Do I put them in the vegetable cabinet in the fridge or can they handle being at room temperature since they are in a ziplock bag. They are scions of Cherimoya and atemoya.

My knee jerk reaction would be to store in fridge, but not sure if that would fiddle with dormancy pattern?

Yes they will stay viable for a few weeks...I've heard folks leaving them in the fridge for three months still fertile.

In fridge, store on top shelf as lower area is colder. You can wrap them in bubble wrap literally!impacting it from getting too cold.

They can be kept for several weeks this way!
