Rambutan, pulasan pollination
« on: September 25, 2018, 11:11:01 PM »
Hi,

I have several mature rongrien (red) rambutan trees. If I plant yellow rambutans grown from seeds near them, but happen to get only female trees, would the yellow female trees get pollinated from rongrien flowers?

Same question for pulasan, would grafted pulasan trees (which I guess have hermaphrodite flowers) pollinate different color pulasan female trees grown from seed?

Yes different cultivars can pollinate each other.
