Your right about it being very early. Without the other male spikes in the pic it doesn't really show how thick the stalk is on this spike. Could very easily just be wishful thinking on my part. The male blooms have been on the ends of the branches and not at the base of the trunk so far but I'm not sure if that matters.
No it's a black gold seedling. When I bought it I was told that jackfruits came true to type and didn't need grafting.
