Fantastic news, lets hope for a successful large scale commercial eradication program.  Now we need to find a cure for the Chinese virus that is attacking humans.

That's some of the best news I've heard in a while for a few reasons.
Finding a control from nature, that also seems to be  low impact low residue etc , is a lot better than some of the potential harder controls that might have been  needed.
It also brings home the need to conserve Citrus relatives in the wild ( and other wild crop relatives ) as a source of these type of controls and genes for breeding work.
Sadly last summer there were massive unprecedented fires in some of the rainforest areas where Fingerlimes grow.
The Mt Nardi fire and Terania Creek fires in Nth NSW got into wet subtropical rainforest due to the long drought in Australia.
Fires are not unusual in Nth NSW, but rainforest creeks and larger rainforest areas were considered the main firebreaks, as it was pretty hard to get them to burn.
