Wait till next year, every annona I have ever eaten tastes better the second year.
I think that tree was grafted last year wasn't it? If you remember you got that
tree a few hours before I picked up mine, Here's my tree. It never developed
low branching and couldn't stand without a stake. I cut off all the scions and
started over a couple weeks ago







It's pushing new low growth in 8 places. Next year it will be OK

Glad you liked it.I was mowing around my tree today and missed my first fruit of the season, dropped .The season which can go till spring, seem to get more berry in late season and yes the tree is very tough through winter not wanting to shed leaves till well into spring

This looks just like a small A. reticulata.  Good job fruiting it.
