I have 899J in open ground, unprotected since 2004. It is now more than 3 m tall, but has not fruited yet. It was a rather shy grower, twig damage was evident after -12C, and recovery next season was very limited, but main trunk was never damaged and this plant survived a winter with -16C and two weeks of frozen soil.
I might have asked it already... is your plant in open ground or in a pot?Thank you!

Not much evident graft shoulder up to now.
