I have a low chill Minnie Royal Cherry on Colt Rootstock tree in a seven gallon pot that is really huge! FREE.. Local pickup only!  You need a Royal Lee for cross pollination! Both are VERY LOW chill cherries!!

I can't imagine any low-chill cherry setting fruit in no-chill South Florida--maybe Central Florida.

I already sold my Royal Lee to Jaime. Don't you need some extra cherry trees?

This tree was a three gallon last year purchased bare root along with Sheehan and Harry's trees.  The plan was to attempt fruition in South Florida.  Its completely dormant right now, about six feet tall and three feet wide.  It may go into bloom this Spring, but this was not a fair "winter" for testing purposes.  If I had room I would plant it out for testing during a real "winter" season.

I can't imagine any low-chill cherry setting fruit in no-chill South Florida--maybe Central Florida.

The two Cherry varieties mentioned are supposedly very low chill, like low chill peaches.  They are fairly new and reportedly have fruited in California with little or no real "chill", so the potential is there.

I'm interested, if the tree is still available.  I'll pm you for details.

I think I'd like to have an acre or two in Central Florida so I could grow low-chill cherries, peaches, plums, and apples!  Maybe have some low-chill chickens and goats, too! :)

Let us know if you ever get fruit.  Do you have the Royal Lee for cross-pollination?

Ordering one this week.  So it will be a while  for fruit.  I'll be thrilled if I get flowers on the minnie this year.  If not, I'm patient, and if there's a chance of getting real cherries, it's worth the wait.
