Good sized fruit and they seem to be enjoying the heat in your greenhouse.

I had my last Maha of the season on September 17th. My first one was ready in Mid-June so a single tree gave me a 4 month long season.

From the dark green color I'm not surprised that another 3 weeks to eat.

Just picked them yesterday.  Largest one is 18oz, a little over 1lb.  Comparing pics of a few weeks ago, looks like they actually got a bit bigger too.  Largest one will be for mom.  The rest will go to my sis.  And I ate all the cracked ones.  Got 4 more on the trees hoping it will get bigger.  Strong floral lavors and taste better this year , maybe due to the coffee+salmon composting tea I water it with.  Practically no seeds inside.

I'm taking advance reservation if you want to buy fruits: $20/fruit for the large one.  I will have your name tags on the fruit next year if you want to claim it.    No chemicals or pesticides used.

Where did you get that Maha Chanok tree? I think you might want to verify the it is actually Maha before sharing any budwood or propagating.

It looks a lot like my “Maha” that ended up being fake.

Doesn’t appear to be Maha. Leaves and fruit appear to be what we’ve been calling Sia Siam.

Got one from plantogram and one from top tropical.  Both trees taste different from each other. The one from top tropical is a bit of fibers strands.   Bought This one is from planogram in 2014 or 15.

Squam, I will have to get some scions from you next year to graft and compare.  Then I will raise hell with both of the vendors for saleing fake e Mahachanok. This guy sia siam  does not look like my Mahachanok from skin outside.  My outside skin color has a pinkish tone to it.  The taste of mine has floral favor too like he said.  Not sure about the cantaloup tough.

That fruit in the park does look different. FWIW our first Sia Siam tree was purchased from top tropicals. Later on, we determined that a lot of the “fake Maha Chanok” that we had planted were in fact the same mango.

My mahahaha (borrow from Oolie) do not look like that in this link.    It is so sour when I eat it as green salad mango.   Maybe it has to do with colder climate that triggers the shape difference??  Anyway, I'll be interested in getting some scions next year when weather is ideal for grafting.  It's going into winter now and raining too.

What are your top tier mangos you recommend. My mom keeps claiming her hometown has better mangos.  I want to grow a few more varieties for her to taste to see if any of the US mangos are on par or better than the one she had in the past.

Is your mango tree being grown in the ground or in a large pot?

in a double deck 10gal pot.

These guys never mention "floral". Mine has strong floral.  When it ripens, the color looks like the one in the video though.
