Are they?
Has great bearing on whether i buy.
I do buy recalcitrant but am very selective as its a 50/50 chance of survival for me.

I got a batch maybe 6 months ago or more and had good germination after a long journey to me.I gave the seedlings away after they grew quickly. I considered them less desirable for my liking due to reported sourness.

This is really a SUPER FRUIT, the concentration of vitamin c, it is almost unbelievable, like 40-60 times more than  in oranges. Is hard to imagine, and imho it is not the same to eat the synthetic artificial vitamin c, than the one from a natural source.

It is sour? Yes, but you can put a sweetener, or do juice and mix, the flavor is good (not like Noni LOL). I love this fruit since I found it growing, (literally) inside the water in the middle of the Amazon like 10-12 years ago.

Cheers

Carlos

Helton, a good friend from Colecionando Frutas (http://www.colecionandofrutas.org/) has seeds and send them worldwide. He has other interesting seeds too. ;)
