Been looking for a reasonably priced, larger achacha tree.  Any ideas?  I STRONGLY prefer to buy locally as I know shipped trees can get stressed, especially if shipped bare root, etc.  They seem to take a full year to just recover from being shipped bare root.

Also, anyone recommend another sapote tree for my climate and soil in SWFL?  I have a Mamey, just put in the ground, about 4' tall.  Maybe a white or green if they will fruit in my area?

I think I have a tree buying problem.

I texted Steve a few weeks ago.  No achacha right now, might get some in later.  I have several of their trees.  I'll double check tomorrow, and yes, they have a HUGE spread with a mind boggling assortment.

Ordered two from Hawaii on a Saturday, they filled the order and got to fed ex Sunday and sent Monday morning and was  at my door by Tuesday.

Both in great shape.

Only problem is the one I gave my girlfriend is outgrowing mine.

Ordering may be the fastest way.

Went to order, the site shows they are back-ordered for now.  Bummer.  The Fort Myers nursery shows in stock, but they are so EXPENSIVE there.  A friggin' seedling is $90.00 picked up.  25 gallon trees are $375.00 (these are generic prices, they do NOT have the Achacha showing in any size larger than seedling).  I'm used to paying $250.00

Are you looking at their listed container size available? I saw the plants they have for sale. They aren't what I would consider Seedlings  they are in 3gal. You should get going on starting some as you won't find a 25gal. Get some seeds and in a couple years they will be at the size of the 3gal

My sapote recommendation would be not to assume because the word "sapote" appears in the name of a fruit that they are in any way related to other "sapote" fruits. Sapote is the most useless word in the fruit vernacular.

You might as well be asking for a recommendation for plants that start with the letter "B". I mean... I could recommend one but I don't really get why you would ask that.
