The nonsense of Ebay... True dwarf, Lmfao! Sorry you won't get a dwarf tree from a cutting even if it was taken from a tree on dwarf rootstock...

I done went and ordered me one of them "true dwarf" citrus trees.  They should be here next spring with the blue strawberry seed and square watermelon seed, and one of them rainbow lemons too.  😭😭😭😭😭.

FourWinds Growers advertises their trees as “true dwarf”

Four winds are grafted to dwarf rootstock, which will make them dwarf. Rooting a branch will never produce a dwarf tree.

Ahh... I misread your post as suggesting there's no such thing as a true dwarf citrus.  Yes... from cutting would be impossible hah

In many plants (Sorghum, wheat, tomatoes, beans, peas, I could go on) dwarf means the internodes are closer together.  This is passed on to seedlings.  In peaches and apples, there are dwarfs due to dwarfing rootstock, and "genetic dwarfs" which are varieties with shorter internods. In some cases, in apples, for example, genetic dwarf branches have been found on named varieties and those can be multiplied by grafting on non-dwarfing roots. 
So I'm suprized that, from what is said above, that such genetic dwarfs aren't known in citrus.  Is that true?
Once again I'm showing that I know much about apples, little about citrus.  Learning though.

Correct. Flying dragon is a dwarf, but not always true to type by seed. My fast flowering trifoliata is also a dwarf @ only 61/2 ft tall. I believe in CA they use something else as dwarf rootstock as well. Simply taking a branch from say a lemon on dwarf rootstock & rooting it will not produce a dwarf tree. 99% of crap sold on ebay is a scam.

I noticed today that the fast flowering trifoliate (FFT) that I got from Laaz earlier this year has set fruit.  Laaz does the FFT fruit have seeds?  If so it will be interesting planting them.  The FFT's growth pattern is thin  very open and and upright.

I planted mine from Laaz today. I assume the seeds will be a duplicate of the mother plant. I too am anxious to plant seeds.

Bomand, what type of seeds did you plant?  Some seeds come true and some seeds do not come true.

Planted Laaz fast flowering poncirus seed . Hope to plant seed from them. They should come true.
