Moh'd, why disappointment, because of the taste or the lack of flesh?
Felipe, the lack of flesh is the biggest disappointment, imo. The taste was sour, nothing special. There might be better specimen of Wild jackfruit in Kerala that contain higher edible percentage than the ones I have. As Ajesh mentioned in his post mine could be from an inferior type.

The Jackfruit Festival (large supermarket) . Every year we get a chance/event to try different types of fruits from all over the world. We have Jackfruit Festival, mango Festival, Thai Fruit Festival, Malaysian fruit Festival, etc.

Thamara jackfruit aka Lotus jackfruit from Kerala. The fruit was a little bit overripe but I really really liked it.
