Variegated Mango called Chitla

Never seen this before,  a mango variety with variegated fruit.

Looks like a mini watermelon ;) The tree must have been variegated too maybe? I think, I remember on the variegated thread, someone said that variegated plants that mange to produce fruit are often very weak and susceptible to disease.

At the bottom of the video, it says www.wildfilmsIndia.com, so maybe Roy or other Indian members, might know something about it.

Whoa!?!?! What the heck... :o ??? It does look like a mini watermelon except for the stem...that stem definitely looks like a mango stem...Very interesting, Thanks for posting!!

Yes it's really impressive! Any photo of this mango tree? The leaves are variegated too?

hey mango seed sowers, I'm wondering how rare variegated mangoes are?

I found one in a batch of 10 mango seedlings that were planted...not sure what variety it was though.

I like the plant because the stem is striped white and green
