What is good about this fruit?  I have a huge tree in my backyard, and don't know what to do with it.  Think about trim it down and plant a different tree.

Here in Mexico is very sought after for people when in season, street seller's have bags of it, also families take down the fruit with long poles, not much flavor but nice texture flesh there's some varietys with sweeter ones, very healthy and full of vitamin and antioxidant, kind of an acquired taste

It has a sweet pea coconut taste, at least the ones I have had. Not a bad fruit, especially for arid tropics. Fruit can be blended with bananas and would make a nutritious smoothie. It is a snacker fruit more like eating peanuts or popcorn.
Grow mainly fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
