In search of Ichang lemon and Improved Meyer lemon seeds
« on: April 03, 2019, 12:52:01 PM »
Hy all, I joined this forum in search of Ichang lemon and improved Meyer lemon seeds. I have found few sellers on eBay but they are asking way too high for 10 seeds (shame). I was wondering does anyone here has those seeds and is willing to send me some. I am eager to grow Ichang and improved Meyer (because od cold hardiness) and want to try grow them in my climate. I live in Croatia but in my microclimate ordinary lemon wouldnt survive. That is why I am searching those two lemon species. Anyway, if someone is willing to help let me know. Thanks for reading.

I don't know if a seller from Romania can be trusted, however

The seeds are likely not going to germinate unless they're harvested from fresh fruits

It is probably much more easy and cheaper  to buy a grafted Ichang Lemon plant from Italy: AgrumiLenzi

For the Meyer lemon- it is mostly zygotic, so your seedlings will be a little bit different from the original variety.
Lenzi also sells mature Meyer plants (10 euro each)

Best regards,
                       Ilya

Lenzi doesnt seem to have Ichang anymore since I cant add it to basket. And as for that ebay seller I dont trust any ebay seller anymore because I was scammed many times especially with seeds.

You should ask Lenzi directly. The shop isn`t up to date often.
