His tree's look good....will this work with more fruittree's??
-
Its a very interesting concept. Since it works on avocado it should work on many other cuttings as well.
Aloe is a miraculous plant for cuts and burns on human skin, much better than anything that they have at the drug store in a tube, but I never considered a use such as this. Thank you for sharing.

Did anyone see roots?
-
Looked like roots at 5:01 though I grabbed a low res version so hard to say for certain, but if there are new branches and leaves forming, its reasonable to assume that roots are forming also.

Im skeptical of that.

I think bs
-
I tried it with citrus cuttings and it didn't work cuttings just died after about two weeks! :blank:

I think its BS also, we just didnt woke up to grafting, pros have been grafting several methods for so long. I would believe if this guy pulls the plant out and expose roots. otherwise not much. Also note the initial push could also be residual energy pushing it. it happens a lot on Cherimoyas and mangoes.

Yes, big piece of wood in hot tropical climate is full of energy and makes a small initial push. We need to see the cup full of roots and a proper flush on the tree to believe it.

This tree also has roots, not sure what tree it is.
But there are so many video's about this technique, they must use it a lot.

Here’s a video comparing rooting cuttings with Water, Hormone powder and Aloe.

Looks like Aloe is better than water but worse than hormone.

Aloe has hormones. You just need to use more Aloe.
