That looks like minor damage and your tree should recover. You may want to clean it up, looks like there is a flake of wood or bark sticking out from the damage but the tree should recover just fine.

I’m not sure if I should use tree paint or something on it, the tree was perfect till this....grrr

Thats very minor.  Ive had multiple trees survive more than 50% girdling from deer rubbing.  Yours will do fine
