Mango tree question
« on: June 24, 2019, 11:47:30 AM »
Hi.  I am in to 2 full season with my mango tree.  I am getting lots of mangos.  But they are small and stringy.  They are also ripening in June / July.  This is supposed to be a Beverly and a late bloomer.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Where did you get the tree from? If they are small and stringy and growing in clusters like that, could be turpentine mango which is generally used for rootstock. Did the tree ever freeze?
