Southeastern Citrus Expo Info, Valdosta, Georgia 11-16&17.18
This years Expo will be held in the Valdosta area.  Lots of good tours and great citrus info!
Friday Night Citruholics Banquet: 6:30 PM  Mama Junes Restaurant3286  Inner Perimeter Rd. Valdosta, Ga  Ph: 229-245-6062
Saturday Events held at Raisin Cane 3350 Newsome Rd. Valdosta, Ga 31606 Ph: 229-559-2000
Registration 8am- 9:30 at Rasin Cane
Fruit Contest Entry time  8am – 9:30 am
Speakers 9:30- 12 Noon include:
Cally Walker   University of Fla. Budwood Program
Anna Jameson   Brite Leaf Citrus Nursery
Pete Anderson   Quincy Experiment Station
Dr. Jose Chaparo  University of Fla.  ( New varieties)
Lunch: 12 noon  Included with registration

What time are the Friday tours?

I would think they would be available most of the day on Friday.. no set time, just drop in. You can email Mark Crawford whose email address is listed in the info.. he could probably tell you the exact times.

Stan, as with past Expo's,  has the Valdosta Expo arranged rooms at a certain hotel?

I've been wanting to go to the SE citrus expo but November is the busiest time for me at work so it is hard to find a good time to take off.  I'll let you guys know if I can actually make it down there.
