Cecilove Mango. . .Availability?
« on: February 18, 2019, 10:04:07 PM »
I'm hearing about the Cecilove mango for the first time.  Early reports are encouraging.  What have others heard regarding this cultivar?  What about availability?

Cecilove was part of Gary Zills breeding product originally labeled 34-24. It was named by Dr. Campbell after his wife, Ceci. It is currently not released to general public but may be in the near future. Scions may be available from certain locations.

Dr Campbell and family were at a mango tasting we attended last year

We met Ceci and their son Tioggo which im sure I spelled wrong.  Another generation of mango people is good for the future

Ceci Love is a great mango but E-4 ruled the day.  Half my top ten were tasted that day and Ceci was on it

They were grafting CL for their own grove so more supply on the way

And I already tried talking them out of one with no luck

We’ve got a number of them in the ground. I really like it and think it might be a good alternative to Sweet Tart.

Good to know others are growing it.

Maybe you’ll have some when I get my annual Edward and Duncan fix
