Raul, will you have them available in a few months?
I am interested but right now it's too cold and would like to avoid to refrigerate them( does it even work for this?) .

By the way, how many years does it take with grafted plants?

Hi Chris, yes I'll be going depending of the orders, in March weather starts to warm up, from seed is taking around 7/8 now since the first seeds were sent out by Luc, and I think nobody was able to fruit them yet, some scions that I sent to Taiwan they told me that flowered the next year but flowers were cut to promote growth, I want to think 2/3 years to fruit...

Good question Alfian, honestly I don't know perhaps someone can share something about this... I know it has been grafted with success on other Garcinia species...

Somewhere in the forum was mentioned that the G. xanthohymous is compatible with mexican Garcinia if my memory serves me well. Is that right?

So this is the same variety/species of Garcinia as the one that Luc sells?

Just a note: If you are sending scions from Mexico they should be wrapped in parafilm since the transit time is so long- 3 weeks or so? The parafilm would extend their life IMO. Perhaps a moistened paper towel in the pouch for added humidity while in transit? Just throwing out some ideas. Thank you for your efforts Raul! Take care my friend. Chris

Only parafilm wrap is not enough, medium with moisture is obligatory. Ι do not know how is the resistance of the specific type but mango scions after 2,5 weeks are worthless. That is my experience.

Hi Chris, I usually send them in humed coco peat with antifungus and 30 days hasn't been a problem, these scions are very hard as most Garcinia..
