M4 or Sugar loaf?

M4 or Sugar loaf (E4) mango?

Which of the two would you plant if you could only select one.

Considering:
Production
Growth habit
Fruit size & durability

We all know both taste great. Tasted a sugar loaf and was amazed about the explosion of flavors.

I just bought a 25 Gallon M4 from Zill today.  I have a small 3 gallon E4 in the ground as well.  I can't comment on disease resistance, but from my research it seems to be a toss up as to which variety is preferred by forum members. Hence I purchased both.

Cool, hope it does well, how much did that 25 gallon cost you?
Did they have different sizes and for how much?

Thanks! Zill only sells to distributors. My best friend is a distributor so he hooked me up at no charge. But I think distribution price on 25gal mangos are in the low hundreds. Not sure what other sizes they had available. My father-in-law got a 65gal fruit punch for mid 300’s. Curious to see what that looks like

Sugarloaf is mid season and M4 is late. Consider a multigraft :)

I sure can't see paying that much for a mango tree when a 3-gallon will grow like a weed and you'll get a better root structure, too.
