So what was said to be a once in 20 years hail storm took out about 75% of my mangos. The ones that didn't get knocked off got bruised or cut and are starting to get rotten spots on them and fall off. Might be more like 90% of the crop when it's all said and done. Was anyone else affected?

We had a hail storm in the spring in Broward some 35 years ago take out a new car. I wish it were mango instead :-)

No hail here in melbourne, but the wind blew off most of my mangoes on our fruit punch tree. Most were about 2 inches in length. Sorry to hear about your mangoes in Merritt Island. Do you or any in Brevard want to trade some scions in the summertime? I have about 30 varieties to trade.

Yes, I would like to trade.

Maybe not your area of Melbourne, but we caught plenty of hail off of parkway and it did the same, knocking off plenty of fruit and damaging others.  The harvest is looking bleaker this year. :-[
