Awesome, sounds interesting! Would you be interested in trading any scion?

Is to possible for the scions to be rooted instead of grafted?
What can it be grafted onto besides itself? I remember people testing other ‘rootstocks’ but don’t think I ever found out if any were compatibleThey can be grafted onto a number of Myrica species with some species having better take rates supposedly. I think a lot of people are using Myrica cerifera but I have been grafting all of mine onto Myrica californica. I am in M. californica's native range and have some big trees on my farm that have grown in the past ~50 years. I'm gonna try Myrica cerifera sometime soon though.
Anywhere in the US one can buy Yangmei trees? Tried group order, all died. Asked friends to buy in China as experiments, either dead on arrival or died after a few weeks. Don't quite trust international order.
Anyone growing the Pink and/or White Tropical Guavas sold by Four Winds Growers? I’m growing both of these in pots and am curious if people like these fruits. I’m thinking of planting them in ground the Spring.
I got rid of my lucuma. Too sweet. Fruits hang 1 year.
I also got rid of canistel. Have lot flowers, but not fruits over a decade.
If I feel like eating them, I go get purple yam and steam. Taste very simular.
