Cleft Grafting Pineapple Guava

I made a little video while I was grafting my pineapple guava. Not sure if that was the right type of graft to go with, but it's the one I have the most experience with. Anyone know what works best for feijoa?

The rootstock is a huge plant but the fruit quality and productivity is pretty bad, so I hope these all take.

Hammered on some: Nazemetz x 1, Coolidge x 3, Improved Coolidge x 2, Precocious X 4, and Nikita x 4 (The number being how many scions of each I put on.)

Nice little video I wish you luck with your grafts. I've successfully grafted them before in Spring time and i use whip & tongue graft but I must say you have clean cuts for a cleft graft if anything to improve I would make your cuts a little longer like 1" to 1-1/2" it just gives more cambium contact. Thanks for posting ;)

Thanks for the tips, I appreciate it! Really hoping these hang on. It's a bit early, but feijoa is cold hardy so I feel it should be ok.

Unfortunately cleft grafting doesn't talked on guava so easily.
Side grafting is a better technique
