cold hardy avocados
« on: February 18, 2020, 03:16:14 PM »
Well it's that time of year again, getting the itch to try some new varieties. Saw a webpage from The Florida Fruit geek talking about Del Rio, May and Gloria Avocados, but I haven't found anywhere to get those from. If anyone knows of a source please let me know.
Thanks
P.S. These are supposed to be cold hardy.

As best I've been able to find out, Del Rio is genetically the same as Pryor/Fantastic. Don't know anything about the others.

Thank you and I have seen others saying that, but the pictures of the fruit appear slightly different to me? I am going to get a fantastic, those I can find locally. However I am still curious about the Gloria and May that was mentioned.
Thanks again
