Just hot this mail from sadu
Hello,

I really hope you get this fast. I could not inform anyone about my trip, because it was impromptu. I had to be in Istanbul ,Turkey for a program. The program was successful, but my journey has turned sour. I misplaced my wallet and cell phone on my way back to the hotel i lodge in after i went for sight seeing. The wallet contained all the valuables things i have. Now, my passport is in custody of the hotel management pending when i make payment.

         I am sorry if i am inconveniencing you, but i have only very few people to run to now. i will be indeed very grateful if i can get a loan of $1,800USD  from you. this will enable me sort our hotel bills and get my sorry self back home. I will really appreciate whatever you can afford  in assisting me with. I promise to refund it in full as soon as I return. let me know if you can be of any assistance. Please, let me know soonest.

I don't know if this is real or not but when I got robbed in a foreign country the US Embassy did all the contacting for me. All transactions took place on their phones and with their computers.

haha sadhu's email account must have been compromised. That doesn't even sound like sadhu's form of writing.

I just finished reading the same mail.
I know Sadhu and he wont do like this.
His particular email id must have been compromised.
He is alright.

Hi,

I got that too. The hacker could have compromised anyone's account who has ever contacted Sadhu and got his/her addressbook harvested. He tried to be smart and use this own email "govardhan_gardens@live.com" as reply-to address and used Sadhu's real email address as from-field.

This scam has become very common and I have gotten this same e-mail from several friends who have been hacked.

You know it's not Sadhu because there are no good tropical fruit seeds to collect in Istanbul.  If it had been Costa Rica or Guatemala it would have sounded more probable.
This is a quite old scam.
