Cherry of the Rio Grande - "GARNET" -  Seedlings - Eugenia Calycina

Never heard of this variety. Is it your own?  BTW…you used the same picture for both ‘Garnet’ and ‘Nelita’…I guess they look/taste the same?

Yes... the grafted plant is one we selected for it's superior fruit.
Visually many of the fruits of Nelita and Garnet are similar on the outside.
Garnet's interior flesh is a golden color... while Nelita has red flesh.
Garnet has a delicious Apricot taste with just a hint of Pineapple.
