Second the syzygium but the growth habit also looks a bit like garcinia. I’d say syzygium 

Does anyone know what variety the ‘Pink Guava’ grown by LaVerne is?Is it any good? Went to Lowe’s the other day and want to get the plant.

After read more online, there are three type, white which is the one I ate, pink and red.  Red is the sweetest one.

I think the one you ate is a red one. Red ones are like that when they aren’t ripe  . When they turn ripe, they turn red but you picked it early so it isn’t sweet. White jambu is completely white with no pink or red

I have passiflora decaisneana, ligularis and quadrangularis ML (PQML) cuttings.  $2 per cutting ( minimum 5 cuttings).  Shipping fee $9 priority mail only in U.S.

The vines are growing in San Jose, CA (9b).  If you are below 9b, you have to have a greenhouse; otherwise, they will die in winter.  For pollination, use its own pollen.  You can cross these passilforas together.  For grafting, you can graft them on other passifloras.

Stress from transport I think. My cherimoya took a very long time, it didn’t grow and then after a while, it started slowly yellowing up it’s leaves and dropping them from bottom to top. After the last leaf dropped, it started growing on the areas the leaves were attaches to the stem.
I think I should’ve just stripped it since true annonas have their buds under the leaf stem, so they can only grow after the leaf falls

Hi, I’ve come back after a while of not posting. I have since got a couple annonas to sprout, including a pond apple. Not sure what to do with it to be honest, but here it is

Me being me a couple months ago, I just tried to grow it as a collector item. Not sure what to do with it anymore
Also I got an atemoya to sprout as well as a rollinia (after it got brought outside it died back a bit but the stem is ok)




Also got some cherimoyas as well from someone else. They’re doing fairly well outside. He told me that they’re the best variety he’s tried so far. 😀 Also got 2 other cherimoya I got myself from seeds and online for rootstock, they’re trying to grow but they look scrawny. 🙁

It looks a bit like atemoya but mostly custard apple, temoylatas are quite rare so I think that’s not the case 🤔

This is kinda me...  having no idea what my banana is... luckily I was able to identify it as a Orinoco but others... I honestly down care much

Yes, I think people are not trying from cuttings or air layers because others are saying it won't work well,
but everyone should experiment and see what works best.
For example, mulberry do great from cuttings, Jackfruit is also related to mulberry, so maybe it can also do great when grown from a cutting.
