My LZ is sending out flowers now and a stalk has bean size fruits already. Most other mangoes are ready with flower buds also. They all will be cut off. This seems to be a little sooner than the passed years.I will let them hold fruits in April.
How hard is it to grow them here? Do you have them in the ground or pots?
I usually get frost around this time of year but I’m not going to worry about it. Last year was a horrible year for me in terms of Powdery Mildew so hopefully this year will be better.
LZ and Ukrong Tong grafted on HD rootstock in full bloom. They will be cut off as it's still cold. Only flowers in March or April are bearing fruits.
