Reminder, this is the last week to order the White Pakistan, and others I show. Later in the summer, I will have the others (except White).
FYI, I grow most of these mulberry varieties on multi-grafted trees (large adult trees) so that I can compare the taste of the fruits and growth habits (dwarf vs std).
Here what I grow:
1. Black Pakistan, large trees
2. Shangri la, large trees
3. Red Hamalyan, many grafted branches
4. Thai Dwarf, many grafted branches
5. Worlds Best, a few grafted branches
6. Contorted mulberry, a few grafted branches
7. Tice, grafted branches
8. White Pakistan, large trees
9. Australian Green/White, grafted branches
-> a few others (Illinois Everbearing, Italian "Sangue-e-Latte", Silk Hope)
Only ones available for sale at this time is #1,2,4.
After comparing the growth of 1-9 above, I was a little surprised to find the White Pakistan mulberry has the slowest growth and seems to grow more like a dwarf tree (but nice size fruits) than any of the others. I have multiple white pakistan (same parent tree) and they have this same growth habit. So for anyone that is looking for a smaller size mulberry tree which gives excellent fruit this is the one I recommend. I will not be selling any more scion wood from this tree again until next year same time same place so place you order now. Last Week for this one.
