Can any of these be rooted from cuttings?

I would said yes.  I rooted Shangri-La with aloe during last Oct and they all show new growth now.

CherimoyaDude, I have rooted the cuttings in pots of the following with no problem: (30-80% take)
- Black Pakistan
- Shangri La
- Thai Dwarf

I rooted Red Himalayn cuttings but % take was lower than the above.
Don't waste your time trying to root the White Pakistan, its difficult to do in a pot outside. I have not been successful with this one yet.

Even with my meager grafting skills I was able to graft 2 of the Whites onto Florida Everbearing roots...
No luck rooting them though....
Thai Dwarf should be one of the easiest to root.

Hi Kevin, I agree with you about the white, its a pain to root, i have not had any success with it. My tree is about 7 yrs old and over 12 ft tall.

I find that my White Pakistan cuttings grafts/takes well if I graft now when my branches all are just starting to form new buds, before they push(see the updated photos). Once the leaves are growing it gets difficult to get them to take (at least for me). I have the Australian green/white which seems to be much easier to graft and it grows faster (much) than the White Pakistan. Both fruits seems to look and taste the same. I should know for sure on the taste this year since I have both varieties on the same trees with many branches that should fruit this year.

I will stop selling the White Pakistan cuttings in another week since the buds will be opening up/too late to graft again. I have other sources of the White Pakistan and so this year I should be able to determine how many different types are floating around. Growth wise, Austrailian green seems to a winner.

I added a few photos of the White Pakistan cuttings since this variety has branches that are not straight like the others on the list above.
Still have about 12 cuttings of the White Pakistan for sale. The buds on the branches/scions should be ready to go as shown in the updated photo above. After the leaf out, will not be good to graft the white until next season again. The other mulberries can be grafted any time of the year and it takes.

Is that Tai dwarf due to root stock or just generally speaking all of the tree is dwarf? also how does it compare in taste to the others?

You can look it up on the forum search. I recently grafted my Thai Dwarf and don't have enough history to give you much details of it.

I did notice the Thai Dwarf has leaf/branch nodes closer together than the others, but the branches still grow long just as the other varieties.
The growth of the branches are just as fast, but it seems to be a skinnier branch, some say it grows more list a skinny bush tree.My grafted Thai Dwarf is only a year old, but it has grown over 6 ft in one year. It is grafted on my large Shangri-La tree.

When I taste many more fruits from the grafts this summer, I can give you an evaluation and compare it to the others I have (Worlds Best, Black Pak, Shangri La, Tice, White Pak).

Reminder, this is the last week to order the White Pakistan, and others I show. Later in the summer, I will have the others (except White).

FYI, I grow most of these mulberry varieties on multi-grafted trees  (large adult trees) so that I can compare the taste of the fruits and growth habits (dwarf vs std).
Here what I grow:
1. Black Pakistan, large trees
2. Shangri la, large trees
3. Red Hamalyan, many grafted branches
4. Thai Dwarf, many grafted branches
5. Worlds Best, a few grafted branches
6. Contorted mulberry, a few grafted branches
7. Tice, grafted branches
8. White Pakistan, large trees
9. Australian Green/White, grafted branches
-> a few others (Illinois Everbearing, Italian "Sangue-e-Latte", Silk Hope)

Only ones available for sale at this time is #1,2,4.

After comparing the growth of 1-9 above, I was a little surprised to find the White Pakistan mulberry has the slowest growth and seems to grow more like a dwarf tree (but nice size fruits) than any of the others. I have multiple white pakistan (same parent tree) and they have this same growth habit. So for anyone that is looking for a smaller size mulberry tree which gives excellent fruit this is the one I recommend. I will not be selling any more scion wood from this tree again until next year same time same place so place you order now. Last Week for this one.

See the photos below, White Pakistan mulberry (8-10 yrs old tree).

I have some mulberry fruits that I picked this week and wanted to give a quick update on the taste.

I will post photos later.
I have ripe fruits of Thai Dwarf (hundreds), World's Best, Tice, Shangri La, Black Pakistan, White Pakistan.
Here's my personal preference of the best tasting in top (best taste) to bottom order.

1. Black Pakistan (9 out of 10)
2  White Pakistan, Australian Green, Shahtoot (8 out of 10)
3. Tice (7 out of 10)
4. Shangri La (6 or 7 out of 10)
5. Thai Dwarf, World's Best (average taste, 6 out of 10)- not much sweet taste at all, only when perfectly ripe (yellow fruit stem).

Note 1) 10 out of 10 - is best tasting.
Note 2) Best fruit production, Thai Dwarf/World's Best. 5X more ripe fruits than any other above. It is producing ripe fruits now for 4wks and there are still hundreds I need to pick every day.

Now that I have all three of the white pakistan type "long fruit" mulberry (3"-4" fruits), I have evaluated the growth habits and fruiting and here's my summary below:

1. White Pakistan - tree and branches have slow growing, dwarf style growth. My larger tree which is over 7 yrs old is about 12 ft tall without any top trimming. Fruit production is heavy but many fruits do not go to full ripe (yellow) so overall ripe fruits are not that good. Branches on this tree does not grow long, just stubby and skinny. If you want to grow a dwarf style tree this one is smaller than the Word's Best or Thai Dwarf. My Thai Dwarf graft (1yr old) is over 15 ft tall.
2. Shahtoot/King White- tree and branches seems to be similar to Australian Green. Fruit is also similar to Australian Green.
3. Australian Green- best growth of all, vigorous branches, slim but grows strong. Easy to graft just like the Black Pakistan. Fruits heavily, largest fruit (up to 4") of these mentioned above. Fruit all taste similar but it has more to eat. My 2yr old grafted branch grew over 12 ft tall, has plenty of excellent tasting fruits. This is the one to graft if you want a medium size tree. Branches do not get fat/large like the Black Pakistan so its easy to maintain.

So far I prefer the taste of Himalayan.  I've tried all of these except the black Pakistan which will be ready to try soon.  The Thai dwarf is pretty bland.   White Pakistan is nice and sweet but Himalayan has strong flavor.
