Mango
« on: May 01, 2021, 11:37:38 PM »
Hi
I like mangoes.   We have 2, 6ft trees, 3 and 4 years old.  They have both flowered and some small fruit are starting.   On one of the trees the flowers are brittle and crumble when touched.   Is this normal or a possible disease.   Im sure that not all flowers become fruit but want to make sure We live in Los Angeles ca
Thanks Bob

Posting a pic would help determine what's going on.

Is it black with powdery, spider-web like strands?  It could be powdery mildew

Normal for flowers to dry and fall off after serving their purpose. Now its just a matter of waiting to see is if the panicles have any viable fruit.
