Blackberry problems

A couple years ago, I bought 5 or so plants of different blackberry varieties. Last year, they escaped their assigned area. This year, I found them growing out of the decorative bushes around the house and in a a few other random spots FAR away from where they were originally planted. If you don't see me post next year, the blackberries took over everything.

I know what you mean. I used to grow varieties that would sucker from the roots. Plants started popping up everywhere. So I ripped them all out and started over. I now only grow varieties that won’t sucker from the roots. It is sooooo much easier to keep them where I want now. Good luck!
